Yes, absolutely. Echo relies on an entirely local architecture (On-Device). Your recordings, texts, and emotional analyses are stored directly within your iPhone’s secure memory (SwiftData). Nothing is ever sent to third-party servers.
Yes. Transcription, semantic search, and the Apple Intelligence model all run locally on your device. You can record your thoughts in airplane mode or right after walking out of a basement cinema without any issues.

At Echo, we firmly believe that your emotions, thoughts, and memories belong exclusively to you. That is why our application was built from the ground up around a core principle: absolute respect for your privacy through a fully local architecture.
The Echo application does not use any external servers.
Echo utilizes Apple Intelligence features and local Machine Learning models (On-Device).
We do not use any trackers, behavioral analytics tools, or advertisements within the app. Your usage of the application remains completely anonymous.
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy if the technical features of the app evolve. However, our core philosophy will remain unchanged: your data stays on your device.
